Arsenal are eyeing a move for Wolves Portuguese Midfielder Ruben Neves.
Wolves have been contacted by the London club, who have expressed an interest in signing the midfielder this summer.
While preliminary conversations have taken place, a deal is only likely to happen if the Gunners can sell some of their players.
When Nuno Esprito Santo took over as manager of Wolves in 2017, Neves was one of the club's standout signings.
The Portuguese midfielder was instrumental in the club's promotion to the Premier League in his debut season at Molineux.
Arsenal have shown their interest in signing Neves, with the club aiming to complete a deal if they can offload midfielders such as Granit Xhaka and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Jose Mourinho, now manager of Italian side AS Roma, has earmarked Granit Xhaka as a possible Target for his side.
It is understood that Arsenal will demand a fee in excess of £20million to part ways with the their Swiss international.
AS Roma are believed to be willing to pay a fee in the region of £13million - £15million. But it is understood that both clubs could reach a compromise for the deal to be completed.
