Jadon Sancho had a medical with Manchester United on Tuesday, before completing his £73 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho has already reached an agreement with the Old Trafford club on personal terms. With the new Premier League season less than a month away, the former Manchester City junior team star is set to go on holiday once the legalities are finished.
The 21-year-old, along with Marcus Rashford and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, was one of three England players to miss a penalty in Sunday's Euro 2020 final shootout loss to Italy at Wembley.
Dortmund's initial asking price was in excess of £85 million, and the transaction is also £35 million less than the £108 million appraisal from last summer.
Sancho's Dortmund contract extends through the summer of 2023, and the club did not want to risk losing him in the final year of his contract.
