Chelsea Agree Club Record Deal With Inter Milan For Romelu Lukaku

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a £97.5m club record deal with Inter Milan for striker Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku has emerged as Chelsea's top target in the final third of the field and talks between the Premier League club and Inter have escalated in the last 24 hours.

According to Sky Italia, the Blues and the 28-year-old have reached an agreement on a transfer fee, which would cost Thomas Tuchel's side €115 million (£97.5 million).

Reports suggest that no was use as makeweights, with Inter preferring a cash-only agreement due to their financial difficulties as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the former Anderlecht youth has already negotiated personal terms with Chelsea, with the Belgian poised to earn €12 million (£10.2 million) per year.

Lukaku previously played for Chelsea between 2011 and 2014, but amid a difficult period in his early career, he failed to score in 15 games.

Over the last two seasons, the Belgian forward has scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter, and he has 113 goals in 252 Premier League matches with Everton, West Bromwich Albion, and Manchester United.
