According to reports, Arsenal has made a £30 million offer for Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia.
Following another great season at Carrow Road, the Argentinian midfielder has emerged as one of Mikel Arteta's main transfer targets this summer.
In 39 Championship outings, the 24-year-old scored 15 goals and added 16 assists as Norwich stormed to the title, securing their return to the English top flight.
Buendia is expected to leave Norwich this summer, with Arsenal and Aston Villa interested in signing him before next season.
According to the Sun, Arsenal and Villa have both made £30 million bids for Buendia, but the transfer battle is far from finished, with Norwich valuing him at £40 million.
The Canaries are under no financial pressure to sell the midfielder, and Arsenal and Villa are expected to come back with better offers in the coming days.
