Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ranked N'Golo Kante as Europe's best midfielder after his outstanding performance in the UEFA Champions League final against Man City.
In an interview with beIN SPORTS, Wenger remarked that Kante has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is Europe's best all-round midfielder.
In both legs of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, as well as the final versus Manchester City, the 30-year-old was named Man of the Match. His achievements have prompted requests for him to be awarded the Ballon d'Or.
The Chelsea star, on the other hand, is a terrific ball winner, according to the French tactician.
“N'Golo Kante has improved his game in several ways.
“He was a great ball winner before he won the ball and made a good pass.
“I call him a great ball-winner because he consistently wins crucial balls without fouling.
“However, he can now sprint with the ball and make a solid pass in the final third of the field.
“As a result, I am convinced he is the best all-round midfielder in Europe right now.”
