Despite recently signing a new one year contract extension with Chelsea, it is believed that the European Champions are open to selling the striker this summer and AC Milan are believed to be the front-runners for his signature.
According Sky Italia, the 34-year-old Frenchman has now agreed a deal with the Rosenerri, but Giroud hopes Chelsea will allow him leave on a free transfer.
Both clubs are yet to agree a fee on the transfer, according to reports, Chelsea will demand a minimal fee for the World Cup winner.
