PSG have reportedly made initial contact to sign Sergio Ramos on a free transfer this summer following the expiration of his contract with Real Madrid.
The 35-year-old Spain international who spent 12-years at the Bernabeu, winning 22 trophies, confirmed last week that after missing the expiry date to sign a one year contract extension, he will be leaving the Spanish capital.
According to Goal, PSG have contacted Ramos reps over a move to Paris, having held several conversations over the past week, report says PSG are yet to offer a contract for the World Cup winner.
Having being left out of Luis Enrique's Spain squad for the Euros, Ramos is free to negotiate his next move with interested parties as he has been heavily linked with some of Europe's top club including Manchester United and Chelsea.
Speaking at his farewell last week, Ramos accused the Los Blancos hierarchy of taking away the contract extension offer given to him.
"I've never wanted to leave," Ramos said
"The club offered me a one year contract, with a drop in salary, I wanted two years, not because of the money, but for continuity for myself and my family. The economic aspect has never been a problem."
"They informed my agent that the contract had expired a week ago. The truth is that I don't know why the contract expired, I can't answer that. There was a negotiation, and maybe I misunderstood."
