According to reports, Chelsea could send Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich in exchange for winger Kingsley Coman.
Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be a great fan of Coman, who is expected to depart Bayern this summer.
Chelsea and Liverpool have expressed interest in the Frenchman, who is under contract with the German club until 2023.
The Bundesliga winners might cash in this transfer window rather than losing the winger for a lower fee next summer or for free the following year.
Bayern Munich value Coman at roughly £77 million, but would be lucky to acquire such a sum in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Due to the high level of competition inside Bayern's ranks, the France international may be open to a departure.
He is presently competing for a spot in the team with Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry, with Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski also ahead of him in the pecking order.
According to L'Equipe, Hudson-Odoi is being considered for a swap deal.
The six-time Champions League winners have been linked with the Chelsea midfielder in the past, with a £70 million bid apparently being rejected in 2020.
After the round of 16, the 20-year-old was an unused substitute in all of the Blues' Champions League games, but he had a good run in the Premier League when Tuchel was initially appointed.
In the midst of the interest in Coman, Bayern Munich's chief executive Oliver Kahn is claimed to be 'optimistic' about re-signing the ex-Juventus man.
He stated, "We're in talks with [Leon] Goretzka and Coman." “We're not stupid when we say that top players want to be paid accordingly. That's absolutely OK. There is a limit with us that is very well defined.”
