Lazio Sign Felipe Anderson From West Ham

Lazio have confirmed the signing of Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson from Premier League side West Ham United on five year deal.

According to TuttoMercato and others, Lazio will pay just over £2 million (3 million Euros) for the 28-year-old with a 50% sell-on fee.

Before he can be officially presented, Anderson must go through a five-day quarantine and coronavirus testing regimen. He is said to have traveled to Rome from Scotland. According to Tutto Mercato, he will take a pay reduction to earn £35,000 per week on a five-year contract at the Stadio Olimpico, but European publications typically cite net earnings after tax, so that might translate to £70,000 per week gross income. According to another allegation from Italy, he may be earning £41,000 per week net or £82,000 gross.

In his three years with the Hammers, in a deal worth worth £34 million,  the 28-year-old Brazilian scored 12 goals during Manuel Pellegrini's reign.

West Ham were likely due to pay the final £8.5 million instalment to Lazio this month, provided the transfer fee was evenly split over four years of his contract.
