According to reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are on the verge of completing a player plus cash deal to bring Sevilla winger Bryan Gil to North London.
Gil, who typically plays as a left winger, is well-liked in his homeland. His participation in all of Spain's national youth teams, dating back to the under-16 age group, attests to this.
Romano indicated that a deal will be reached ‘soon,' and that Erik Lamela will be sent the opposite way as part of the deal.
Since 2016, the 29-year-old has hardly been more than a depth piece. Tottenham would reportedly pay €25m plus add-ons to finalize the deal due to Lamela's age.
