BREAKING: Champions League Group Stage Confirmed

The group stage draw for the 2021-22 Champions League has been made, and clubs around Europe now know who they will face in the 67th edition of Europe's premier competition.

Defending champions Chelsea has been drawn in Group H with Juventus, Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have both been drawn in Group A, and with RB Leipzig and Club Brugge joining them, one team that is accustomed to qualifying for the knockout stages will be left out.

With Liverpool facing two of its former rivals in this competition, Group B appears to be a fascinating group. Atletico Madrid knocked the Reds out in 2020, and they and AC Milan created arguably the most spectacular Champions League final in 2005. FC Porto completes the group.

Borussia Dortmund will believe they have a strong chance of progressing from Group C, leaving Ajax and Sporting Lisbon to fight for the second qualifying slot.

Sheriff Tiraspol of Moldova, who are making their tournament debut, will play Inter Milan and Real Madrid in Group D, while Shakhtar Donetsk may also struggle in that group.

Bayern Munich and Barcelona will compete in Group E, with Benfica, Dynamo Kyiv, and Benfica hoping to cause an upset and qualify ahead of one of the big teams.

Villarreal will face Manchester United, the team they defeated in the Europa League final last year. The rest of the group is made up of Atalanta, who have shined in their recent participation in this competition, and Young Boys.

Lille has been placed in Group G alongside Sevilla, FC Salzburg, and Wolfsburg as a reward for winning Ligue 1 last season.
