Inter Milan's new coach, Simone Inzaghi, has signed a contract until 2023.
The Nerazzurri club made the announcement with an official statement on their website and on social media.
“FC Internazionale Milano welcomes Simone Inzaghi as the new coach of the First Team: the coach has signed a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri club. #WelcomeSimone”.
This is the press release that appeared on Inter’s official website to communicate Simone Inzaghi’s hiring as a new coach.
The former Lazio coach has agreed to a two-year deal with the club that would run until 2023. Inzaghi replaces Antonio Conte, who left the Nerazzurri bench after the Nerazzurri won the Scudetto last season.
Inzaghi coached Lazio for five seasons, winning 134 games, 45 draws, and 72 defeats in 251 official matches for the Biancoceleste. He has two Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups to his credit. In addition, in 2019-20, he returned the Biancoceleste to the Champions League for the first time in 13 years.
