Tottenham Approach Antonio Conte To Be Their Next Manager

Former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is expected to be announced as the next Tottenham Hotspur manager by club chairman Daniel Levy, according to Football London.

This comes following rumors on Wednesday evening that Tottenham was in ‘advanced' talks with the Italian manager to capture his services.

Spurs have been looking for a new manager for over a month after sacking Jose Mourinho at the end of April. Despite being linked to a number of candidates, no appointment had been set. Conte, though, appears to be the man who will succeed Mourinho as the club's next full-time manager.

The flamboyant Italian is coming off a highly successful season in which he led Inter Milan to victory in Serie A. However, a disagreement with the board over future plans prompted him to resign, and he is now in line to become the next manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
