Olivier Giroud is closing on a move to AC Milan after the Italian club agree a fee of £1.7 million with Chelsea.
The 36-year-old France international is expected to travel to Italy for a medical before signing a €2 million agreement with Milan, according to Sky Italy.
The Serie A team will pay an initial price of £860,000 (€1 million) plus a further £860,000 in add-ons based on the player's appearances and the club's qualification to the Champions League group stage next season.
Last summer, Giroud signed a new one-year contract with Chelsea, and the club recently exercised an option to extend it for another 12 months.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, the striker has scored 39 goals in 119 appearances, earning three major trophies, including the Champions League triumph in May.
Giroud was part of France's disastrous Euro 2020 campaign, which saw them eliminated on penalties by Switzerland in the round of 16 after a 3-3 extra-time draw.
