Sergio Ramos Agrees Two Years Deal With PSG

After rejecting two offers from Premier League clubs, Sergio Ramos is said to have accepted a two-year contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

After an emotional farewell to Real Madrid last month after the Spanish club declined to give in to his contract demands, the 35-year-old defender is now a free agent.

According to RMC Sport, Ramos is expected to join Mauricio Pochettino's side. According to the French publication, the center back's brother has been in Paris to finalize a contract.

According to report, Ramos turned down offers from two English clubs in favor of joining PSG, despite one of the clubs offering him a significantly greater salary.

The defender is anticipated to finalize the transfer after undergoing a medical examination, which will take place in the next few days.

PSG will gladly pay the Spaniard's high salaries and respect his experience, particularly in the Champions League.

The French club reached their first Champions League final in 2020, but were beaten by German giant Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid won the competition four times with Ramos in the team, who also won five LaLiga crowns, two Copa del Reys, four FIFA Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, and five Spanish League Cups during his career at the Bernabeu.

In an emorional press conference last month, the defender admitted he did not want to leave the Bernabeu after 16 years with the club.

He stated that he had delayed too long to accept a Real contract offer because by the time he had made up his mind about staying at the club, the offer had been withdrawn.
